SYDNEY WELSH SOCIETY
Our Welsh community in Sydney
The Sydney Welsh Society brings together the Welsh community and friends of Wales in Sydney through events, language, culture, music, sport and friendship. A home away from home, and a bridge between Australia and Wales.
Our community brings a little bit of Wales to life in Sydney. We make space for old traditions and new friendships, for Welsh speakers and curious beginners, and for everyone who wants to feel at home.
Whether you are from Wales, have a family connection or are simply Wales-curious, you are welcome here.
Welsh culture and connections
For Welsh Australians, culture can mean a song shared, a conversation in Cymraeg or gathering for St David’s Day. The Society offers a place for Welsh people in Sydney and friends of Wales to connect.
